Our Story

Robyn Davis

Robyn Davis holds a Bachelors Degree in History and Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of Wisconsin in Madison. She purchased and refurbished an old schoolhouse in Galena, and turned it into her dream home. She has a great love of Galena and its history. Her husband, who maintains this web site, wants you to know her presence is as haunting and beautiful as the stories she tells on tour.

Ted Williams

Ted has been a tour guide and tour/entertainment producer, director, writer and performer for over 20 years. He helped start the very first Ghost Tour in Galena, and has developed some of the areas leading tour based  attractions. He lives in Galena, and shares a loving life and home with his wife Robyn, and his golden doodle Winn Dixie.

Cindy Tegtmeyer (Miss Sadie)

Cindy Tegtmeyer has a BFA in Acting from Millikin University.

Prior to moving to Galena in 2013, she was a professional actress, SAG-AFTRA voice-over artist and youth acting teacher in Chicago for over 20 years. Cindy graduated from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and toured as a clown with RRBB Circus. She has performed locally at Bell Tower Theater, The Galena History Museum, the Galena Cemetery Walk  and the Galena Center for the Arts.

When not telling Ghost Stories through the long winding (and sometimes long winded) memory of the 150 year-old maid, Miss Sadie, you might find her around town teaching yoga classes, taking sunrise photos, delivering local veggies or hanging out with Magi husband, P.T. Murphy and their teenage son. She misses her dog Coco Bean very much.
