Haunted Objects
Kat Armstrong
Friday Night 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm ($30.00)

Join Kat to learn about what makes an object haunted! What are the signs of a haunted object? What kinds of objects can be haunted? Are dolls vessels for souls?

In this workshop, we will discuss various known haunted objects, what characteristics make us believe they are haunted, and ways to validate haunted activity! Then, we will put that knowledge to work, as we explore Kat’s collection of potentially haunted objects using a variety of methods and equipment and our own intuition. Will we get any activity? Join this haunting workshop to see for yourself.

Silent Soiree
Kari Bergen
Friday Night 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm ($35.00)

Join Kari Bergen and Spirit Society Paranormal in a celebration that honors the spirits of the DeSoto House Hotel. Inspired by last year's investigation of the DeSoto House Ballroom and the traditional folk practice of the "Dumb Supper," we will be working together to create an inviting, familiar atmosphere for positive communication and mutual enjoyment on both sides of the veil. We will recreate a 19th century soiree reminiscent of what was experienced at the DeSoto House, inviting the spirits to join us as our honored guests in eating desserts they would have liked while listening to music they would have danced to. Feel free to dress the part or bring trigger objects. As we dine together you may feel the presence of the DeSoto House ghosts, receive a message or even have a conversation without spoken words. Kari will share the story from last year's conference and a short presentation before walking you through this intimate experiment in compassionate paranormal investigation. What else might we experience. Join us to find out. Dessert included. Cash bar available.
INVESTIGATION AT GALENA CELLARS WINERY and
THE DOWLING HOUSE
Hosted by Spirit Society Paranormal
Friday Night 10:00 pm - 2:00 am ($45.00)
Spirit Society Paranormal is excited to host another year of investigations for The Haunted Galena Conference. We unique new ways will continue to offer unique ways of investigating at this after-hours event, including interactive opportunities and (drum roll, please) a surprise guest investigator at each workshop!
Investigations will include using traditional tools of divination including pendulums, dowsing rods and more. You will also experience modern ghost hunting equipment including, but not limited to, EMF detectors, REM pods, and EVP devices. This is a great opportunity to experience the many tools used in paranormal investigations over the last 150 years combined with some new techniques and experiences!

From 1900 to 1965, The Galena Cellars Winery functioned as Galena's primary funeral home and shared the space with a furniture store. As odd as that seems, the furniture makers made coffins, which were then utilized by the funeral home. This arrangement was a common practice throughout America. Countless people were prepared for burial in this building, and as such, it is one of the most haunted buildings, not just in Galena, but in the Midwest.

Included in this event is a small group visit and mini-investigation of The Dowling House, Galena's oldest standing stone house.
From ghostly children to unexplainable paranormal outbursts, this investigation is not for the faint of heart. Stories of encounters, photos, and eyewitness testimony in both locations make this investigation an event you don't want to miss!

PAST LIFE REGRESSION EXPERIENCE
Sherri Brake
Saturday Night 7:30 pm -9:00 pm ($35.00)
Participants will gather for a group-style regression led by Sherri Brake. Sherri will explain how Past Lives can be experienced and what to expect during this session. Using soothing music frequencies and the meditative techniques of relaxation, participants will be talked through levels of consciousness where, through the mind's visualization, they may see and experience a past life. Occasionally participants may glimpse more than one life. There will be time after the group session for participants to share experiences and ask questions. The question most asked beforehand is "Will I see something for sure?" Nearly 70% of people will have a glimpse or experience during the session. This is a fascinating way to learn about yourself and your ability to tap into your deepest cell memories. The process is gentle, structured and supportive, offering a unique way to explore how past experiences may influence the present.

FAMOUS STONES AND BONES - DESOTO HOUSE BRUNCH & CEMETERY TOUR
Ted Williams and Robyn Davis
Sunday Morning 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM ($45.00)
Join Ted Williams and Robyn Davis for the delicious (and all you can eat) brunch at the DeSoto House Hotel. The hotel offers an excellent brunch that includes many breakfast and lunch options including an omelet station, prime rib, pastries, salads, and much more. During brunch enjoy a brief presentation about the history of Greenwood Cemetery and the Age of Beautiful Death. We will then all independently travel over to Greenwood Cemetery for a guided exploration of Galena's most famous monuments (Stones) and restless ghostly citizens (Bones). There is a famous unmarked grave in Greenwood Cemetery and with any luck we will have sensitives along who can help identify her burial site, to maybe give this unfortunate soul a voice...a voice unheard for 170 years. Proceeds for this event are donated to the Greenwood Cemetery Auxilary, a not-for-profit organization that maintains and improves the cemetery.
