COMBO - INVESTIGATION AT GALENA CELLARS WINERY and THE DOWLING HOUSE
Friday Night 10:00 pm - 2:00 am ($45.00)
Hosted by Transcendent Paranormal Society

Take part in a unique combination paranormal investigation of Galena Cellars Winery and The Dowling House.   Investigate Galena's oldest house, The Dowling House, using traditional tools of divination including pendulums, dowsing rods and more.  Investigate Galena Cellars Winery using modern ghost hunting equipment including, but not limited to, EMF detectors, REM pods, and EVP devices. This is a great opportunity to experience the many tools used in paranormal investigations over the last 150 years!

The Dowling house, built in 1826, is the oldest standing stone house in the State of Illinois.  It functioned as a frontier trading post and served as a militia planning center during the Blackhawk War.  Today it is a tour home and one of Galena's leading attractions.

From 1900 to 1965, The Galena Cellars Winery functioned as Galena's primary funeral home and shared the space with a furniture store. As odd as that seems, the furniture makers made coffins, which were then utilized by the funeral home,  and this arrangement was common throughout America. Countless people were prepared for burial in this building, and as such, it is one of the most haunted buildings, not just in Galena, but in the Midwest.

From ghostly children to unexplainable paranormal outbursts, this investigation is not for the faint of heart. Stories of encounters, photos, and eyewitness testimony in both locations make this investigation an event you don't want to miss!
